Ellysa Vardy, M.Sc., S-LP(C) Reg. CASLP

Ellysa Vardy, M.Sc., S-LP(C) Reg. CASLPO is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologist of Ontario (CASLPO), and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). 

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Language Sciences from Brock University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from University College London, in the United Kingdom. She also has a certificate in Francophone practice for Speech-Language Pathologists, as well as in Hanen's It Takes Two To Talk program. 

Ellysa has experience working with toddler, preschool and school-age children in the areas of language delay, articulation, motor speech, pragmatics (social skills), fluency (stuttering), literacy and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). She believes in the importance of including families in the therapy process and tries to ensure therapy is fun and motivating for the child!

At Bright Futures Ellysa works one-on-one with children and families to offer support through personalized care. Services include speech and language assessments, individualized therapy, and parent coaching to help families feel confident supporting their child at home.
